VRA Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification

 

 

 

VRA has gained certification of its Quality Management System (QMS), after successfully completing a two stage audit against the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. The certification of VRA’s QMS allows the company to progress towards local manufacture and support of advanced weapon systems for the ADF – a significant increase in Australia’s sovereign industry capability.

 

VRA Systems is a joint venture between the Varley Group and RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems, established to provide high technology solutions for the ADF, including the SPIKE family of Anti-Tank Guided Missiles selected for projects LAND 159, LAND 400 ph2 and LAND 400 ph3.

 

The audit and subsequent certification process were supported by Australian Government funding through Capability Improvement Grant.
